Privacy

Aegis is a privacy product, so bolting on Google Analytics would be embarrassing. We built our own.

Analytics

We record page views and a few interaction events. No third-party trackers, no advertising cookies. The session identifier lives in your tab's memory and dies when you close it.

IP addresses

We never store a raw IP address. Where we need to rate-limit or count, we store a salted SHA-256 hash instead, which cannot be reversed without the secret salt.

Your vault

Vault contents are encrypted on your device. We cannot read them. See the security model for the full picture.
